1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Mesaplex tools (mpx-scan, mpx-api, mpx-db, mpx-secrets-audit), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the tools. Simple.

2. Description of Service

Mesaplex provides command-line interface (CLI) developer tools distributed via npm. Tools are available in two tiers:

• Free Tier: Core features with rate limits. No account required.
• Pro Tier: Unlimited usage and advanced features for $10/month or $96/year. Requires a license key.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

All Mesaplex tools are provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Specifically regarding mpx-scan: Security scan results are informational only. mpx-scan is not a substitute for professional security audits. We do not guarantee that scans will detect all vulnerabilities or that following recommendations will make your systems fully secure.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mesaplex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue resulting from your use of the tools.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mesaplex from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the tools, including but not limited to unauthorized scanning of systems you do not own or have permission to test.

6. Free Tier

• Available without creating an account
• Rate limits apply (vary by tool, typically 10-50 operations per day)
• May be used for commercial purposes
• We reserve the right to adjust rate limits with reasonable notice

7. Pro Tier & Licensing

• Pro licenses are per-user — install on multiple personal machines
• One Pro license covers all Mesaplex tools
• Cancel at any time; access continues until end of billing period
• 30-day refund policy, no questions asked
• License keys are for personal use and should not be shared

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the tools to attack, scan, or test systems you don't own or have permission to test
• Circumvent rate limits or licensing restrictions
• Redistribute Pro license keys
• Use the tools for any illegal purpose

9. Open Source

Mesaplex tools are open source under the MIT License and available on GitHub. These Terms govern the use of the distributed tools and the Pro service, not the source code itself (which is governed by the MIT License).

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
